Thank you for stopping by our website and your interest in our boutique courses.
What an incredible journey MBT (NOW gcbt) has been. Firstly, we began in Melbourne where we met and helped many women start their journey into the industry. As of 2020, we are Gold Coast based, providing the same amazing service at affordable prices.
We are particularly proud of our fast growing academy and the students we support. As your educator, I take so much pride in our students experience. Our training sessions are run by fully qualified industry leaders and designed for all skill levels, whether your new to the industry or simply wanting to build on an existing skillset. We have a maximum number of 4 students per course to ensure students get the most out of our courses.
Our courses provide the tools and support needed to give your salon the edge over competitors or to land you your dream beauty job.
Now lets talk about how MBT (now GCBT) came about, the start of the journey; I created MBT as this industry is my passion, I want everyone to not only look their very best but I want our students to feel confident and empowered by the new skills they have learnt.
My career in the beauty industry began over 20 years ago. First starting out as a MUA and then becoming a BT. Beginning my career in the days before Social media, I had to put myself out there and network with other businesses to build my own! I had to talk the talk & then back myself, walk the talk!
From renting space in other businesses, working from home around the girls when they were little, to opening two shop fronts in two different states, beauty business coaching, working for well known beauty brands as a Business Development Manager and trainer. After all of this amazing experience, it eventually became the right time to give back to the beauty industry by sharing all of my knowledge and so Melbourne Beauty Training was born.
My priority every single day is to ensure our fully qualified staff provide the highest of quality to the academy, we are proud to be a positive part of our students journey in the Beauty industry and make training fun, educational and stress free.

Highly recommend melbourne beauty & training. I did a one on one course for spray tanning and it was brilliant, I took so much out of it. I felt comfortable and relaxed as I was taught spray tanning!! came home knowing exactly what to do and could immediately spray that night perfectly!
